At Alternative Youth Radio, our 24/7 Radio Broadcasting initiative goes beyond entertainment—it’s a lifeline for communities, a platform for change, and a beacon of hope for those who feel unheard. Operating around the clock, we are committed to connecting people, fostering dialogue, and creating opportunities for transformation in Liberia.
Our programming speaks to the heart of community needs. Critical Talk (8–10 PM, Monday to Friday) tackles pressing social issues, giving citizens a voice on matters that affect their lives.
The Alternative Breakfast Show (8–10 AM) delivers news, insights, and uplifting content to start the day with purpose. On Sundays, Language Hours (8:30–9:30 PM) celebrates Liberia’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage.
We also air programs promoting local talents and rebroadcast trusted content from partners like ALICOR, NAYMOTE, Voice of America, and West Africa Democracy Radio (WADR).
But our impact doesn’t stop at the studio. We travel to hard-to-reach communities, bringing their stories, struggles, and aspirations to light. By amplifying these voices, we shine a spotlight on issues often overlooked, from education and healthcare to youth empowerment and cultural preservation.
